Sabrina’s Cafe
The Latkes are trad, but the toppings are nouvelle, apple pear and cranberry persimmon sauces, or go savory, with roasted garlic and dill sour cream. Very Fru-Jew.
Supper
apple chutney and sour cream, crispy chicken skin and fried onions. Don’t tell uncle Barry the Cardiologist.

Latkes with with salmon basturma and apple labaneh are on Chef Solomonov’s Chanukkah Mesibah prix fixe menu, along with five other courses, including sufganiyot.
